Enjoy Creamy Beef and Bowtie Pasta, an Italian-inspired meal featuring bowtie pasta and a creamy, cheesy beef sauce. This creamy beef recipe takes only 30 minutes to make and is a hearty main dish that is great for a comforting dinner. Top with fresh parsley for a pop of flavor.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Add the bowtie pasta to boiling, salted water and follow package directions until al dente. Drain bowtie pasta and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, add olive oil and heat over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic and saute until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and use a spatula to break it apart while it cooks. Brown the beef completely until it is cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).
  4. After the beef has cooked, add the beef broth and allow it to simmer. Let the beef broth simmer for 3-4 minutes to reduce slightly.
  5. Once the beef broth has reduced, lower the heat and add heavy cream and then Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  6. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, to taste. Then mix in the cooked bowtie pasta and stir to ensure the bowtie pasta is completely coated in the creamy sauce.
  7. Serve warm, topped with fresh parsley.
